ASTM57-Horizontal

ASTM 57

ASTM #57 stone is a clean, crushed limestone aggregate that is commonly used in construction and site development. The material typically ranges from about ¾ inch to 1 inch in size and contains little to no fine particles (“dust”), which allows water to drain easily through the rock.

Because of its consistent size and clean composition, ASTM #57 is widely used in both commercial construction and general site work where strength, drainage, and stability are important.

Typical Uses Include:

  • Concrete aggregate in ready-mix concrete production
  • Drainage layers around foundations, retaining walls, and drainage pipes
  • French drains and stormwater systems
  • Base material for slabs, pads, and equipment foundations
  • Septic system drainage fields
  • Railroad ballast and utility trench backfill

ASTM #57 stone is produced to meet the ASTM C33 aggregate specification, which ensures consistent sizing and quality for construction applications. Contractors, concrete producers, and property owners choose this material when they need a durable, free-draining aggregate that compacts well while still allowing water to pass through.

1 1/8" B Rock

1 1/8" Rock is a clean, crushed limestone aggregate that typically ranges from approximately ¾ inch up to about 1 1/8 inches in size. The material contains little to no fine particles, allowing water to drain easily through the rock while maintaining strength and durability.

Because of its clean composition and larger stone size, 1 1/8" Rock is commonly used in construction and drainage applications where stability and water movement are important.

Typical Uses Include:

  • Drainage layers around foundations and retaining walls
  • French drains and stormwater management systems
  • Base material for concrete slabs and equipment pads
  • Railroad ballast and heavy-duty drainage areas
  • Utility trench backfill
  • Landscaping and decorative rock applications

1 1/8" Rock is produced through crushing and screening processes designed to maintain consistent size and cleanliness. Its larger stone size provides excellent drainage while still offering strong structural support.

Grade5-Horizontal

Grade 5

Grade 5 aggregate is a crushed limestone material consisting of a mixture of stone sizes along with fine particles. This combination allows the material to compact tightly, creating a firm and stable base layer for roads, driveways, and construction projects.

The blended composition of rock and fines allows Grade 5 material to lock together during compaction, making it a reliable choice for base and foundation preparation where durability and load support are important.

Typical Uses Include:

  • Road and driveway base material
  • Parking lots and equipment yards
  • Base preparation for asphalt paving
  • Construction entrances and access roads
  • Sub-base layers for concrete slabs
  • General site preparation and grading

Grade 5 is produced to meet construction standards for base materials used in road building and structural support applications. The mixture of aggregate sizes ensures proper compaction and long-term stability under traffic and heavy equipment.

Man-Made Sand

Man-Made Sand, also known as manufactured sand or crushed limestone sand, is a finely crushed aggregate produced during the crushing and screening process of limestone rock. The material consists primarily of small, uniform particles and fines that create a smooth, workable material suitable for construction and site development applications.

Because of its consistent particle size and composition, Man-Made Sand is widely used in construction where a fine aggregate is required for filling, leveling, and blending with other materials.

Typical Uses Include:

  • Fine aggregate in asphalt and concrete blends
  • Pipe bedding and utility trench fill
  • Base preparation and leveling material
  • Masonry and mortar mixes
  • Fill material for small voids and grading work
  • Paver and stone joint sand

Man-Made Sand is produced through a controlled crushing and screening process to create a uniform fine aggregate that meets industry construction standards. Its consistency makes it an excellent alternative to natural sand for many construction applications.

TrapRock-Grade3-Horizontal

Trap Rock – Grade 3

Trap Rock is a durable crushed stone aggregate known for its hardness, strength, and resistance to wear. It is commonly used in construction and infrastructure projects where a strong, long-lasting aggregate is required to withstand heavy loads and high traffic conditions.

Because of its dense structure and excellent durability, Trap Rock is frequently used in projects that demand superior performance compared to standard aggregates.

Typical Uses Include:

  • High-traffic road construction and asphalt production
  • Railroad ballast
  • Drainage systems and erosion control
  • Structural concrete aggregate
  • Riprap and slope stabilization
  • Industrial and heavy-duty construction projects

Trap Rock is produced through controlled crushing and screening processes to maintain consistent sizing and quality. Its strength and resistance to weathering make it a reliable material for demanding construction environments.

Commercial Base

Commercial Base is a crushed limestone aggregate blend that contains a mixture of stone sizes along with fine particles (“fines”). This combination allows the material to compact tightly, creating a strong and stable foundation for heavy traffic and structural loads. The material typically ranges from larger crushed rock down to fine limestone dust, which helps lock the material together when compacted.

Because of its blended composition and excellent compaction ability, Commercial Base is widely used in both commercial construction and large-scale site preparation where durability, load-bearing capacity, and long-term stability are critical.

Typical Uses Include:

  • Base layer for roads, highways, and driveways
  • Foundation base for commercial buildings and concrete slabs
  • Parking lots and heavy equipment yards
  • Preparation base for asphalt paving
  • Base material for subdivisions and construction entrances
  • Structural pads for industrial facilities and storage areas
  •  Utility trench backfill where compaction is required

Commercial Base is produced to meet construction-grade aggregate standards commonly required for road base and structural fill applications. The blend of crushed stone and fines ensures proper compaction, reducing shifting and settlement while providing a stable working surface for construction equipment and finished structures.

Contractors, developers, and site engineers rely on Commercial Base when they need a dependable material that compacts well, supports heavy loads, and provides a long-lasting foundation for paving or structural work.
